Cathy – Cathy started in the travel industry in 1980, working primarily with travelers. In 1986, Cathy found an exciting job with a travel company on a military base, helping our military travel both for official government work as well as their much needed vacations. One her best memories of this portion of her travel career, was standing on the pier in Bremerton watching the USS Nimitz pull into port after a 9 month cruise, proudly escorted by the Blue Angels. After leaving that position the next nine years found Cathy in an even more exciting and challenging opportunity within the corporate community as she became a dedicated travel agent to the same account, "My clients became friends and some even like family". Cathy has also work as a tech support specialist for an online booking engine, supporting direct customers and travel agents with all aspects of the very complex product. It was in early 2007, Cathy found her home here at Tangerine Travel in the Groups Travel department! Much to her delight and surprise, she was reunited with former co-workers. "The Seattle area is a tight community of career industry professionals, and it was wonderful to be so welcomed and immediately feel so connected." Cathy is married and she loves to cook, garden, read, and travel to sunny places and cruise the Caribbean.

Bev had the opportunity to travel with United, and in fact spent most of 2005 in India doing training assignments. She joined Tangerine Travel in 2006, and joined the Group Department in February 2008. Her favorite groups are those traveling internationally, but she finds working with groups in general very interesting because of the variety of their arrangements. Her travels besides India have included Canada and Mexico as well as many U.S. destinations including Hawaii and Alaska, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand. Her favorite trip was to Dunk Island just off the northeast coast of Australia. When she’s not busy taking care of our groups she likes to read, listen to music, watch movies, and go out to be social with friends and family.
